Reflect:
I found this hard, because when you limit yourself to a target audience, your options become smaller and considring my product does not have any known alterantives, I found it even more challenging. In future networking events, I will definatley try and plan better considering two of my three interviews were on the spot and not planned. I was intimidated giving my elevator pitch on the spot with no planning but it helped me come out of my comfort zone which is always good because I will definatley be doing more networking in the future.
Hi Kayla, I agree about this assignment being hard since you have to find someone who is within the target audience as well as people who could give insight on your business idea. I also had to contact many people for this assignment last minute which is the worse because procrastinating until the last minute is not something that is recommended in the business field. Doing so will result in unsuccessful, expected outcomes. This assignment also taught me about time management since it requires planning and doing things that are outside of my comfort zone.
ReplyDeleteHi Kayla, I agree with what you said about this assignment, I found it really difficult to narrow down my target audience as well. Having to find people to interview for the assignment was difficult as well. I think this assignment helped me understand the importance of knowing how to network with others in the future. It definitely helped me get out of my comfort zone.
